Silver Honey® Rapid Skin Relief Medicated Shampoo is formulated to quickly soothe irritated skin and treat fungal and bacterial skin conditions. Quickly treats conditions like dermatitis, scratches, flaking, rashes, chapped skin and other topical issues. It can be used on its own, or as the first step in a treatment regimen followed by daily application of Silver Honey® Hot Spot & Wound care ointment or spray gel. No fragrances, parabens, sulfates or alcohol. Safe for pets and all animals.

Why doesn't Silver Honey® harm the skin's natural microbiome? The reason MicroSilver does not have much of an effect on the good bacteria is because our good bacteria (microflora) is generated from deeper within the skin and MicroSilver has large 10 micron particles that sit on the top of the skin. The MicroSilver will have some localized effect on any Microflora on the top but no major influence because these are regenerated from deeper in the skin. MicroSilver particles also only sit on top of the skin or wound bed, so there is no skin or mucosa tissue penetration.

Will this get rid of mites on my pet? Silver Honey® is a topical wound care and skin relief product, so while it may soothe damaged skin and help it heal faster, but will not kill mites. We recommend asking your vet for advice on dealing with mites.

How long does the shampoo have to stay on the skin?
Silver Honey® medicated shampoo only needs to stay on for 5 minutes to start soothing and healing irritated skin. After rinsing clean, it leaves a light layer of MicroSilver BG® on the skin to continue fighting against bacteria and promote rapid healing.

    Flare ups

I have a pitbull that has severe allergies, skin irritation, and yeast infections.

I found Absorbine, online. I used it in hopes that SOMETHING would help him. Unfortunately, it flared his skin worse than what it was. It started to weep, it was irritated.

I'm not saying it won't work for you, but it didn't help us.
