Q How often should I apply and how is it applied?

The Scratches Spray should be applied daily for best results and this application rate should be suitable for most scratches cases. In severe cases the product can be applied twice daily. Spray the affected area until fully saturated.

Q How long will it take for the product to work?

For mild cases with smaller, localized infection and scabbing, it’s realistic to expect healing within 1-2 weeks with daily application. For more serious scratches cases, where larger areas of the pastern, heel bulbs and/or cannon are involved, it may take 2-4 weeks.

Q Is the Scratches Spray OK to use on dogs and cats?

Scratches Spray has been specially formulated and designed for the unique challenges of equine dermatitis, so we recommend that this product be used on horses. For dogs and cats, we recommend using our Silver Honey Hot Spot & Wound Repair products.

Miracle product

I had been dealing with a minor scrap that turned into a major problem for months. I started using the Vet strength and ointment and within days saw a huge improvement! Best product on the market and very affordable♥️. I use it on the dogs also:)

Excellent product—effective on stubborn cases

Our farm has had good success with this product. We’ve tested it on horses with chronic scratches, treating one pastern with Silver Honey and the other with a different product and it’s worked the best without causing a lot of skin irritation. Wish it came it larger sizes or was available with a quantity discount though.

Finally something that works!

Over the past 4-5 years my horse has always lost the hair on the top of his tail in the summer. Every year I have tried something different with no luck. This year I started using the silver/honey shampoo and this spray and it has worked! His tail is still full and beautiful.
