    Rapid Ear Care Vet Strength Ear Treatment for Two Ears

    Each Treatment bundle provides a two-step system to treat infection in two ears over 10 days. Step 1: Use the rinse once a day every day in both ears. Shake well and apply liberally to the ears. Gently massage the ears to work the rinse in. Let your pet shake their head so debris can leave the ear. Wipe away debris before moving on to Step 2. Step 2: Use the concentrated ampules every other day in each ear. Twist the cap off a single dose for each ear and squeeze the full amount into the inner ear. Gently massage to work in into the ears. For best results, continue every other day for 10 days. Your pet may be a bit nervous at first, but the massaging will help give them comfort, and the treatment will start providing relief from irritation in 30 minutes.     I missed a day of the Silver Honey Vet Strength Ear Treatment system. What do I do now?As soon as you realize you have missed a step in the process, pick up where you left off with the next step. For example, if you missed giving a concentrated dose, do that step as soon as possible, then continue with the process as described in the instructions. There is a handy tracking calendar in the Ear Treatment box that will help you stay on track, and make notes for yourself as needed.

    I stopped using the Silver Honey Vet Strength Ear Treatment early because my dogs ear seemed better, but now the issue came back. What do I do now? It is very important to use the system for the full 10 days as indicated in the instructions, even if the ear seems to improve, is less red, and/or the dog is no longer itching at it. The issue can still be there even if not obviously showing. If you did stop early, start again with Silver Honey Vet Strength Ear Treatment based on the instructions and continue for 10 days.

    What do I do if it does not heal in 10 days?It is VERY important to administer all doses for the full 10-day treatment, even if the ear appears to no longer be red or itchy.     How much of the rinse should I put in my pet’s ear? The rinse is meant to be used liberally, filling the ear canal. The amount will vary depending on the size of the ear. After massaging the rinse into the ear, allow the pet to shake their head so debris can be removed and wiped away.

    Can I just use regular Silver Honey Wound care in my pet’s ear? The formulation of the Ear care dosing ointment is different than the wound care spray gel or ointment, so only the Ear Care products should be used for treating ear problems. The wound care product may be used on the exterior of the ear for irritations, dry skin, etc.

    Does this get rid of ear mites? Silver Honey® will not kill ear mites, although it can soothe skin damaged by the bites. Please consult with a vet on the best way to handle your pet's ear mites.

    Do you have any helpful tips for administering Silver Honey Vet Strength Ear Treatment if my pet is uncooperative?
    Here are a few tips to help make the process more pleasant:
    • Keep the interaction positive, giving praise, petting your pet, and giving treats before and after you administer.
    • When it is time to give the treatment, go find your pet rather than calling them to you.
    • Use GENTLE restrain techniques, like take your pet to a relatively small area so they can’t run from you – it may be helpful to have your pet sit in a corner facing out can keep them from backing away.
    • Have a second person hold your pet so you have both hands free to handle the rinse and dosing. The other person can also continue with praise and treats during the process.
    • Be as gentle as possible. Avoid pulling too firmly on the ear or poking the ear canal. Often simply gently holding back the ear flap is all that is needed.

    Finally relief for my Cockapoo’s gross ears

    My 14 year old Cockapoo had a black oozing gunk coming from her ears for FIVE MONTHS before I found this product. She was suffering and it broke my heart! I tried a variety of vet suggested and homeopathic treatments with no success. My sweet pup became deaf as a result.
